Helm Digital — Graphic Designer

2021 - PRESENT

  • Worked as lead designer on various projects, ranging from brand design to email design, reporting directly to the Creative Director and Art Director.

  • Lead large scale meetings with clients, breaking down goals of projects, progress, and next steps. This included but was not limited to breaking down wireframes for website builds, web mockups, paid ad design, email template design, and brand design.

  • Developed logos, brand assets, and brand guides based on extensive design knowledge that are easy to understand, accessible, and true to client goals and attributes.

  • Built wireframes, created mockups, and gave precise feedback to developers both independently and collaboratively on web design projects where I was the lead designer. Project wireframes created with both Adobe XD and Figma, for both Wordpress and Shopify. 

  • Designed email and flow templates within Klaviyo and Mailchimp that encouraged engagement and consisted of blocks that were both functional and followed brand standards. 

  • Partnered with different departments through chat, email, and video calls to deliver functional projects and cohesive designs to an array of clients – from small local businesses to multi-million dollar brands.

  • Utilized the Adobe Suite and Figma to create stunning design and assets for websites and in-store signage, social media profiles, within emails, and in online ads.

  • Mastered the cloud system in use at the company and assisted in file management for various projects.

  • Aided in photoshoots by setting up camera gear, prepping products such as food and clothes, and by helping maintain studio organization.

  • Took on solo design projects under the guidance of both the senior graphic designer and the art director. This included both print and digital assets, mostly involving sales and general brand awareness.
